Starting with Robotics: The Journey Begins
🤖 Introduction
Robots have always fascinated me, and as I started reading Stanislav Slams' book on the topic, I couldn't help but be drawn into the world of robotics. While some may view it as science fiction, the possibilities of robotics are intriguing and worth exploring. Inspired by my reading, I decided to create a video guide on how to start with robotics, how to practice and improve skills, and most importantly, how to build your first robot.
🧱 Playing with Lego Bricks
As a child, my first encounter with robotics was through playing with Lego bricks. Although it may not seem like a traditional route to robotics, it allowed me to unleash my creativity and expand my imagination. Lego provided me with the foundation to build anything I wanted, including cars, robots, and machines. It was a fun and creative way to explore the possibilities of building and engineering.
⚡️ Power Functions Kit: Adding Motion
To enhance my Lego creations, I acquired a power functions kit that included a motor and batteries. This kit allowed me to bring my creations to life by giving them movement. The joy of seeing my Lego cars, robots, and machines come to life was indescribable. It was my first taste of how electronic components could be integrated into a project to make it functional and dynamic.
🎥 YouTube Videos: Sharing Creativity
Alongside my Lego constructions, I discovered a passion for making YouTube videos. At a young age, I started creating videos showcasing my Lego creations. It was an excellent way to document and share my progress with others. Although those early videos may not be as polished as I would like them to be now, they captured the joy and excitement of my journey into robotics.
