Moving the Ducks
Friends, welcome back to another exciting video! Today is a big day as we are relocating our ducks from the original PC Farm to the new and improved PC Farm 2.0. Additionally, we are also getting a new house built for our pigs. But that's not all, we have a vet appointment scheduled for Mango, as his tusks have been growing uncontrollably. With so much happening, let's dive right into the action!
The task of moving the ducks was no easy feat. We had originally planned to use nets and plywood to help capture them, but we found ourselves without the necessary tools. So, we had to rely on our bare hands to catch the ducks one by one. To assist us, I purchased a dog cage from Walmart. I know it may sound outrageous, but don't worry, we will be returning it afterward. The cage was just large enough to fit all the ducks, and it ensured they stayed together during the relocation process.
With the cage in hand, we enlisted the help of Brenton and the VZ kids to catch the ducks. It was quite an adventure, with ducks swimming away, evading our grasp. But with teamwork and determination, we managed to catch them all. Some ducks even tried to escape by flying away, but thanks to Brenton's acrobatic skills, they were swiftly caught mid-air. It was a job well done, albeit a messy one.
Building the Pig House
Now that the ducks were safely secured in the cage, it was time to focus on the pigs. We needed a new house for them in the new farm, and that's where Hector came in. Hector is a skilled builder who has worked with us before, and he never fails to deliver. The construction of the pig house began with the placement of sturdy four by fours into the ground. These posts would provide the foundation and support for the entire structure.
The house itself was much larger than any we had previously built for our animals. Measuring 10 by 8 feet, it offered ample space for the pigs to move around comfortably. The design was thoughtfully executed, with a durable frame and secure walls. We wanted to ensure that the pigs were safe, dry, and shaded at all times. After all, their well-being is our top priority.
With the construction complete, we were ready to move the pigs into their new abode. This part, however, was a bit more unpredictable. Sometimes the pigs cooperate and walk over calmly, and other times they scatter around, turning it into quite a spectacle. Fortunately, luck was on our side this time, and all the pigs made their way to the new house without much fuss. It was a relief to see them settle in comfortably.
And with that, we successfully tackled the tasks of moving the ducks and building the pig house. It was a day filled with excitement and hard work, but the results were truly worth it.
