Shopping for Christmas Gifts
Good morning, everyone! It's a cold day, and I wanted to share my recent shopping experience with you guys. I went to Walmart and found the perfect little Christmas gift for anyone in the healthcare field. It was only five dollars, such a great deal. We also went to other stores like Target and Dollar Tree for some Christmas shopping. Let me tell you all about it.
At Walmart, we spent around two hours exploring the aisles and finding the perfect gifts. It was quite an enjoyable experience to browse through all the options. Later, we headed to other stores like Target, where we found some unique items to decorate for Christmas. Dollar Tree was also on our list, as we wanted to find affordable decorations to make our surroundings festive. Let's dive into the details of our shopping adventure.
Decorating for Christmas
Now that we have all the necessary supplies, it's time to start decorating for Christmas. We have planned to decorate the outside of our house to spread the festive cheer. Unfortunately, I won't be able to show you the decorations due to privacy reasons. However, I'm genuinely excited about making our home look beautiful for the holiday season. But before we begin, let me quickly update you on what's happening.
Currently, I'm still in my jeans and waiting to change into something more comfortable. When I'm at home, I prefer wearing relaxing clothes like sweats. It's already 1 o'clock, and I can't believe we spent the entire morning shopping. But now that we're back, I'm feeling hungry, and I thought I'd show you what I'm going to eat. However, I got distracted putting away all the groceries. After finishing the task, I finally decided to grab a quick bite.
Enjoying a Meal
I must say, the ceviche I bought earlier looks absolutely delicious and smells spicy. It's so good that I couldn't resist trying it. Though I may not be able to finish it all, I scooped some into a disposable plate and decided to savor the flavors. The combination is incredible, and I can't help but appreciate the taste. It's moments like these that make me truly enjoy my meals.
After finishing my meal, I realized that I need to run an errand for my dad. It seems I completely forgot about it while editing this video. It's a bit annoying, as I already changed into my comfy sweatpants. But I have to do it, so let's go and complete the errand. Alright, errand is done, and I'm feeling much better now. The annoyance has subsided, and I'm ready for a treat.
Ordering from Starbucks
To lift my spirits, I'm thinking of stopping by Starbucks and getting a drink. Although the weather is cold, the idea of the foam in one of their beverages sounds fantastic. I'm tempted to try the eggnog drink, although it's not on the menu. One of my subscribers mentioned how much they liked it, so I'm willing to give it a shot. Let's see what's available and decide on a drink.
I placed my order at the Starbucks drive-through, but I realize now that I ordered a cold brew. Considering how chilly it is outside, it might not have been the best choice. Nevertheless, I'm excited to try the cinnamon oat milk foam. Oh, and I also wanted to mention that I recently renewed my RN license. Let me share the experience with you.
Renewing an RN License
Renewing my RN license was a necessary step this year. Typically, we need to renew our licenses every two years and complete Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Since I'm not currently employed, I had to find an alternative way to complete the required CEUs. I discovered a website called netce.com, where I purchased a package providing 30 units through three different courses.
To my surprise, the CEU process was more straightforward than I expected. Instead of reading and taking a quiz, all I had to do was click a button to confirm completion. It made me wonder if I truly gained new knowledge or simply paid for the CEUs. Additionally, I thought I needed to submit fingerprints for the renewal, but it turns out it wasn't necessary.
Even though I'm not working at the moment, I was able to renew my license without any complications. The licensing board doesn't require proof of hours worked, only the completion of the 30 CEUs and the payment of fees. I hope this information is helpful to those of you who may not be aware of the renewal process.
