The Revelation of the Lamb on Mount Zion

In this vision, I looked and saw a lamb standing on Mount Zion. With him were a hundred and forty-four thousand individuals who bore their father's name on their foreheads. From heaven, I heard a voice like the sound of many waters and a great thunder. Additionally, I heard the sweet melodies of harpers playing their harps. They sang a new song before the throne, the four beasts, and the elders. This song could only be learned by the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.

The Heavenly Voices and Harpers

The voice from heaven continued to reverberate, filling the air with its mighty sound. It commanded the people to fear God, give glory to Him, and acknowledge that the hour of judgment had come. Everyone was called upon to worship the Creator of heaven, earth, sea, and fountains of water. Another angel followed, announcing the fall of Babylon, a great city that had caused all nations to partake in the wine of her fornication. Then, a third angel warned about the consequences awaiting those who worshiped the Beast and received his mark – torment with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Holy Angels and the Lamb. They would have no rest, day or night.

The New Song and the Redeemed

Only the hundred and forty-four thousand who were not defiled with women and remained virgins could comprehend and sing the new song before the throne. These individuals were the faithful followers of the Lamb, devoted to being wherever He went. They were the chosen ones, redeemed from among men, the precious firstfruits presented to God and the Lamb. Within their mouths, no deceit or fault could be found, as they stood blameless before the throne of God.

The Angel with the Everlasting Gospel

At this moment, a remarkable sight appeared before me. I witnessed another angel flying in the midst of heaven, carrying the everlasting gospel. This angel had a divine mission to preach the gospel to all those dwelling on the earth, regardless of their nation, kindred, tongue, or people. With a loud voice, the angel emphasized the imperative to fear God, give Him glory, and worship the Creator of all. The proclamation declared that the time had come for judgment, urging everyone to repent and turn towards righteousness.

The Fall of Babylon

Following the angel with the everlasting gospel, another angel declared the fall of Babylon, the great city that had seduced nations into drinking the wine of her wrathful fornication. The fall of Babylon signified the righteous judgment and retribution imposed upon this malevolent realm. The city's reign had come to an end, no longer able to corrupt and deceive the world.

Warning Against Worshipping the Beast

Continuing the divine discourse, a third angel warned the inhabitants of the earth vehemently against worshiping the Beast and receiving his mark, either on their forehead or hand. Those who chose to worship the Beast would suffer the wrath of God, enduring the pouring out of His undiluted indignation. Torment with fire and brimstone awaited them in the presence of the Holy Angels and the Lamb. The smoke of their torment would rise forever, and they would find no respite, day or night.

The Torment of the Worshipers of the Beast

The fate of those who worshiped the Beast and received his mark was grim. They would drink from the cup of God's wrath, poured out without mixture. In the presence of the Holy Angels and the Lamb, they would suffer in eternal torment. The smoke arising from this perpetual torment would ascend forever and ever. There would be no rest, day or night, for those who devoted themselves to the worship of the Beast and embraced his mark.

The Patience of the Saints

In the face of these daunting challenges, the voice from heaven comforted and encouraged me. It proclaimed that the patience of the saints would prevail. The saints stood as a testament to endurance, clinging to their faith even in the midst of trials and tribulations.

The Son of Man and the Harvest

As I continued to witness the magnificent vision, a white cloud appeared before me. On this cloud sat someone resembling the Son of man, adorned with a golden crown and holding a sharp sickle in his hand. Simultaneously, another angel emerged from the temple, urgently urging the cloud-dweller to thrust in his sickle and commence the harvest. The time had arrived for the earth's harvest, as it had ripened and was prepared for reaping by the one who sat upon the cloud.

The Gathering of the Grapes and the Wrath of God

Following the initial reaping of the earth, another angel emerged, carrying a sharp sickle from the heavenly altar. This angel had dominion over fire and commanded the one with the sharp sickle to harvest the fully ripe clusters of the vine of the earth. They were subsequently thrown into the great winepress of the wrath of God. The winepress, located outside the city, overflowed with blood, reaching the horse bridles and spanning a distance of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Such was the immense wrath of God, demonstrated through the act of judgment.
