One such O Antiphon is dedicated to the Key of David (Latin: clavis David). Let us delve deeper into the meaning of this symbol and its impact on our lives.

The Key of David: Symbol of Power and Authority

In the Book of Isaiah (Chapter 22), the "Key of David" is mentioned as a symbolic attribute of the Prime Minister who holds the power over the royal palace. By possessing the key, the Prime Minister has the freedom to move around the palace and control access to it. This symbolizes significant power and authority.
